What Solo Start does
Welcome to Solo Start. Generate your mining configuration with no account or signup required. Your wallet address is your only identity.
Step 1 — select your coin
For mining, we’ve selected BTC. These five SHA-256 chains are compatible, and your config updates live as you choose.
Step 2 — choose your region on the globe
The globe shows nine stratum regions. Solo Start detects your nearest node by latency. Below, the comparison table ranks locations like Frankfurt and London by speed.
Step 3 — wallet, worker name and hardware
Now for the configuration. I’ll enter our example Bitcoin address. Remember, your wallet address IS your account. Block rewards are paid via network coinbase directly to you; the pool is non-custodial and never holds your funds.
The worker name is an optional label for your machines. Selecting a hardware model like the Antminer S21+ 235TH is useful because it pre-fills the recommended difficulty settings optimized for that specific device.
Enabling TLS encryption
I’ll click to enable TLS encryption. This encrypts the connection between your miner and the pool, and it is the highly recommended secure option for any firmware that supports it.
Step 4 — your configuration is ready
Step four is ready. Your stratum URL, port, and username are generated. Solo mining is probabilistic with rare wins but full block rewards; if you’re ready, head to solofury.com/start to generate your own configuration. All links are in the description.
FAQ
Do you need an account to start solo mining on SoloFury?
No. There is no registration and no signup. Your wallet address is your only identity: you paste it into the configurator, and block rewards are paid by the network coinbase directly to that address. The pool is non-custodial and never holds your funds.
How does my wallet address work as my account?
The wallet address you enter becomes both your identity and your payout destination. When a block is found, the network coinbase pays the reward straight to that address, with no intermediary holding it. Because there is no account, there is nothing to sign up for and no funds held by the pool.
How do I choose the best server region?
The Solo Start page shows a 3D globe with nine stratum regions and detects your nearest one by latency automatically. Below it, a comparison table ranks every region by real round-trip time in milliseconds and distance in kilometres, so you can pick the lowest-latency server for your location.
What does TLS encryption do and should I enable it?
TLS encrypts the connection between your miner and the pool. On the configurator it is a single toggle: enabling it switches the label to TLS encryption ON. It is the recommended secure option for any miner firmware that supports it, and it does not change how rewards are paid.
What does the generated configuration contain?
The final step produces a ready-to-use stratum configuration: the stratum URL, the port, and the username, which is your wallet address plus an optional worker name. You can copy it directly, export it as a text file, or share it, then paste it into your miner's firmware to start solo mining.
