Privacy Notice
What data SoloFury processes, why, for how long, and your rights · Updated 28 October 2026
Who is responsible
SoloFury is a personal project by Rolando, an operator based in Europe, who is the controller of the data described here. For any privacy request write to [email protected].
What we process
- Mining connections: the wallet address used as username, worker names, the name of the mining software, shares, difficulty and hashrate, and the IP address of the connection.
- Website: requests to the site (IP address, page, browser type, time) in the web server logs and at Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Telegram bot: your Telegram chat ID, language and the addresses or groups you choose to follow.
- Fleet (for hosting providers and their clients): Bitcoin addresses and message signatures of the parties, labels and shares of the agreements, the manager's name and logo, console sessions, the IP address used to sign, and the email or Telegram contact the manager gives us.
- Contact form: the name, email and message you send.
We do not ask for identity documents or bank details.
Why we process it
To run the pool and the services you ask for (connections, statistics, payouts in the coinbase, Fleet agreements, alerts, replies to messages): this is necessary to provide the service (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To keep the service secure and stop abuse such as attacks, invalid shares or overload: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not make automated decisions about people.
What is public
As on any public pool, mining statistics are visible per wallet address: anyone who knows an address can see its hashrate, workers and blocks. Blocks found and their coinbase payouts are recorded on the public blockchain. On Fleet pages client addresses are masked.
How long we keep it
- Web server logs: 14 days.
- Pool logs with connection data: rotated automatically and deleted after at most 90 days.
- Mining statistics per address: history for 90 days; a short summary of each address (for example the best share) stays on the pool so that its statistics can still be shown.
- Telegram bot: until you unsubscribe or block the bot; the log of sent alerts is kept for 90 days.
- Fleet: detailed hashrate samples for 40 days, daily summaries for 24 months, daily coinbase checks for 120 days, console sessions for 12 hours. Agreements, signatures and block history are kept while the agreement exists and afterwards for as long as the parties may need them as proof of what they signed.
- Contact messages: in our mailbox, for as long as needed to handle the request.
Who receives it and where
Only the providers needed to run the service: the server provider (Vultr), Cloudflare (DNS, protection and delivery of the website), Telegram (for the bot), the email provider of our mailbox and the form service that delivers contact messages (Web3Forms). Some pages load fonts, libraries, prices or videos from third-party services (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs, CoinGecko, YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, a QR code service on the setup page); these services receive your IP address as part of the request.
The pool has servers in 9 regions, in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, South Africa, Brazil, Singapore and Japan, and the central statistics and Fleet database is in the United States. When your miner connects to a server outside the European Union, its connection data is processed in that country, because that is the connection you chose. Where it exists, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (for example for the United Kingdom, Israel, Japan and Brazil); otherwise on the data protection terms of the providers.
Cookies and browser storage
SoloFury does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The site saves a few settings in your browser: the theme, the addresses you look up, the progress of the setup wizard and the Fleet console session (12 hours). They stay on your device and you can delete them by clearing the site data. Cloudflare may set technical cookies needed for security.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to [email protected]. For data linked to a wallet address we may ask you to sign a message with that address, to make sure the request comes from its owner. Data recorded on a blockchain cannot be changed or deleted by anyone. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Age and changes
The service is intended for adults. We may update this notice: the date at the top shows the current version, and changes that matter for Fleet users are announced as set out in the Fleet terms.
