Fleet Group: Guide for Hosted Miners

Your hosting manager invited you to mine in a Fleet Group. This guide shows every step of the invitation, what you sign and why, how each block of the group is divided, your machine settings, your page, Telegram alerts, how to leave and how to check each payout on the blockchain.

Your hosting manager invites you to mine in a Fleet Group: your machines mine with your own Bitcoin address together with the other members of the group, and every block the group finds is divided by the shares each member sent. Your part is created directly in your wallet, inside the block’s own transaction. We take a fixed 1%, your manager takes the quota you see before signing, and the members share the rest.

The group finds blocks far more often than your machines alone, and each block pays you in proportion to the shares you sent to that server in that round. It is still solo mining: months or years can pass without a block, and then nobody receives anything. Before you sign, the invitation shows an estimate on your hashrate.

You need a bc1q… or bc1p… address from a wallet you control, and 5 minutes to sign a message. A signature proves that the address is yours; it contains no amount, no recipient and no transaction.

Version 1.0 · 27 October 2026 · Bitcoin (BTC). Your manager may have sent you this page together with the invitation link.

Key takeaways

  • Your bitcoin arrive in your wallet, in the coinbase of every group block in which you have shares. There is no balance to withdraw.
  • Each block pays 1% to SoloFury, the manager’s quota, the rest to the members by shares. A part below 5,000 sat is not paid on that block.
  • You join with one signature from your wallet. Check that the message has 5 lines and contains your address.
  • The rules are fixed when the group is created. They are in your receipt, on your page and in every coinbase.
  • Your page shows your part of the current round, your workers, the blocks of the group, and a button that checks the coinbase of the next block.
  • To leave, stop sending shares and ask for removal from your page: after 14 days without shares the removal is executed.

Fleet Group in one minute

SoloFury Fleet lets a hosting manager connect clients’ machines to our solo pool. Your invitation is for Fleet Group: the rest of this page is about Fleet Group only. The comparison with the other Fleet modes is in SoloFury Fleet: Split, Group and Pool.

Coinbase outputReceivesAmount
Pool feeSoloFury1% of the block, plus any member part below 5,000 sat
ManagerYour manager’s address for the groupThe manager share, fixed when the group was created
MembersOne output per member paid, yours includedThe rest, in proportion to the shares each member sent in the round

Example on the 3.125 BTC subsidy with a 5% manager share: the members share 293,750,016 sat (the 16 sat beyond 293,750,000 come from how the software rounds the manager share). If your machines sent 4% of the shares in the round, your output is 11,750,000 sat, about 0.1175 BTC. Network fees are added to the subsidy, so a real block is worth more.

How a block of the group is divided

The round

A round is the time between two blocks found by the group on the same server. During the round each server counts the shares of every member. When the server finds a block, the coinbase pays each member by their shares in that round, and the round starts again from zero. A round ends only with a block: there is no daily or weekly reset. Your shares stay in the round until a block pays them, unless you are removed from the group or the group is dissolved first: then the shares still in an open round are not paid.

The primary server

The group has one primary server, chosen by your manager: all members mine there, so all of them take part in every block. The group is also present on the other Fleet servers, as a backup. Each server keeps its own round. If your machines move to pool 3 during an outage, they keep mining for the group, but their shares count in the round of that other server and pay only if that server finds a block.

The 5,000 satoshi threshold

A coinbase output must be above a minimum size, so a member part below 5,000 sat is not paid on that block: it stays in our fee output. Nothing is carried to the next block. With a 5% manager share, a 1 TH/s miner in a 50 PH/s group has about 5,900 sat per block, just above the line; in a 100 PH/s group about 2,900 sat, below it. Your page shows whether your part is above or below the threshold, before and after every block.

What you need

  • A Bitcoin address starting with bc1q or bc1p, from a wallet you control. This address receives your part of every block and is the username of your machines.
  • A wallet that signs messages: Sparrow, Electrum, BlueWallet, Trezor Suite, or a Ledger connected to Sparrow or Electrum.
  • The invitation link from your manager. It is valid for 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days, as your manager chose, and works once.
  • The hashrate of your machines, in TH/s, for the estimate. Your manager may have entered it already.

An exchange deposit address cannot sign messages, so it cannot be used. The address must not be in another group or in a Fleet Split agreement. Use a fresh address of your own wallet.

The invitation, step by step

The invitation page is on solofury.com/fleet/gjoin/…. Check the domain before you continue.

1. Read the invitation

The top of the page shows who invited you, the primary server, the members count (“Members: 12 of 111”, for example) and until when the link is valid. If the page says “Invitation expired”, “Invitation cancelled” or “Invalid link”, ask your manager for a new one.

2. Read the five things to know

  1. Your machines mine with your Bitcoin address. If a block comes, the satoshi go straight there, not to the manager.
  2. On every block: 1% to the pool, the manager share, the rest divided among the members by the shares each one sent to that server since the last block found there.
  3. If your part is below 5,000 sat, you do not receive it: it stays in the pool fee.
  4. A long time can pass without any block. Nobody guarantees a payment, not even the manager.
  5. The manager can remove you only after 14 days without shares from you and must write the reason. To leave, you too first spend 14 days without sending shares to the group, and ask from your page.

One more fact to know: at removal, or if the group is dissolved, your shares still in an open round are not paid.

3. Read the group rules

The box Group rules (fixed at creation) lists: pool fee 1%, the manager share of the block, the members share of the block, minimum payout 5,000 sat, finder bonus none, round reset at every block, maximum members. Below it, the amounts on a block found today: what the manager would receive, and your part if the group were full and every member sent the same shares as you.

4. Read the estimate

The estimate uses your declared hashrate and the group’s, at today’s network difficulty. It reads like this:

  • you X TH/s + the group Y TH/s (measured over 24 hours) = total → your part of the shares → your part of a block in BTC;
  • how many blocks the group finds per year on average, and your part per year on average;
  • the chance of at least one block in 12 months;
  • the chance of six months in a row with no block.

These are averages, not a promise. Difficulty changes every two weeks: if it rises 30% in a year, the group finds about 23% fewer blocks. When the group has no measured hashrate yet, the estimate uses the hashrate declared by the manager.

5. Check your machines

Under Your machines (declared) you see the TH/s, number and model entered by your manager. Correct them if they are wrong: the manager sees your value next to theirs.

6. Enter your payout address

Paste your bc1q… or bc1p… address and press Continue. The page shows a message of 5 lines to sign, with Copy and a QR code.

7. Check the message

The message looks like this. The address and the numbers change for every request; this example uses a public test address.

Blitzpool address-ownership verification
Address: bc1qw508d6qejxtdg4y5r3zarvary0c5xw7kv8f3t4
Nonce: q3VhZl0tK1p8sW2mYx4bNA
Issued(ms): 1792764191000
Expires(ms): 1792765091000
LineWhat it means
First lineFixed header: blitzpool is the name of the pool software SoloFury runs. You are proving that you own the address
AddressYour payout address. It must be identical to the one you entered
NonceA random code for this request only, so the signature cannot be reused elsewhere
Issued(ms)The time the message was created, in milliseconds
Expires(ms)15 minutes later. After that, press New message

Sign only a message with these 5 lines and your own address. Stop and write to your manager if a message asks you for any of the following:

  • amounts, another address, a transaction ID or the words “transfer”, “spend” or “approve”;
  • a transaction or a PSBT to sign, instead of a text message;
  • your seed words or a private key;
  • a message sent by chat or email, instead of the one shown on solofury.com.

8. Sign with your wallet

Open the “Sign message” tool of your wallet, choose the same address, paste the message exactly as copied and sign. The wallet returns a signature: one line of text, often ending with ”=”. On a phone, scan the QR with the wallet app.

WalletWhere to sign
Sparrow (computer; also with Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard, BitBox, Jade)Tools → Sign/Verify Message → choose the address → paste → Sign → copy the signature
Electrum (computer)Addresses tab → right-click the address → Sign/verify message → paste → Sign → copy
Electrum (Android)Addresses → tap the address → Sign/Verify → paste → Sign → copy
BlueWallet (Android, iPhone)Open the wallet → ⋯ → Addresses → tap the address → Sign/Verify → paste → Sign → copy
Trezor SuiteAccount → ⋯ → Sign & Verify → choose the address → paste → Sign, confirm on the Trezor → copy
LedgerLedger Live cannot sign messages: connect the Ledger, with the Bitcoin app open, to Sparrow or Electrum and sign there

We tested Ledger via Sparrow in October 2026; the other rows follow each wallet’s documentation. A bc1p (Taproot) address needs a BIP-322 signature; today Sparrow with a software wallet produces it. Bitcoin Core signs only addresses starting with 1, so it cannot sign for bc1q or bc1p.

9. Confirm

  1. Paste the signature.
  2. Tick I accept the group rules and the SoloFury Fleet terms.
  3. Tick the declaration: “I understand that this is group solo mining: a payment arrives ONLY if the group finds a block. Months or years can pass without blocks and in that case I receive nothing, even if my machines worked the whole time. If my part is below 5,000 sat, I receive nothing on that block either.”
  4. Press Sign and join.

10. You are in the group

The page shows You are in the group, the machine settings and two buttons:

  • Open my page: bookmark it.
  • Download the receipt (PDF).

Keep the invitation link: it lets you download the receipt again at any time. If the page closes after the signature was accepted, open the link again and press Resume.

Configure your machines

The settings appear right after the signature. The primary server already has your address, and a block found there pays by the rules from your first share. In hosting, your manager usually enters them on the machines.

FieldValue
Usernameyour-address.worker1: replace worker1 with a name for each machine
Passwordx
Pool 1Primary server, first port
Pool 2Primary server, second port
Pool 3The same group on another Fleet server; shown on your page once the group is on every server, usually within a few minutes, with the other servers listed so you can choose the closest. Until it appears, an outage of the primary server stops your machines

Keep pools 1 and 2 on the primary server. Use only the hosts and ports shown on your page: on a regular solo port of our pool, your address would mine alone, outside the group.

Your receipt

The PDF receipt records your entry into the group. Keep it with your documents.

  • The group, your manager and the rules fixed at creation: pool fee, manager share, minimum payout, maximum members, days without shares before removal.
  • The addresses: pool fee, manager, yours.
  • The message and signature that prove the manager address, and your message and signature, so you can verify them offline with Sparrow or Electrum (Sign/Verify Message).
  • Your declaration, with its date, and the machines you declared.
  • The version of the terms you accepted, and the fingerprint of the document.

Your page

Your page is the Miner page of your address with the Fleet Group panel: solofury.com/miner/?addr=your-address&coin=btc. It refreshes on its own.

SectionWhat it shows
Top lineYour workers in the last hour, the primary server, your part of the round and If a block came now, above or below the 5,000 sat threshold
ServersFor each server where you have shares: the round (from which block and since when), round shares, your shares, your part, your last share, and the outputs if a block came now: to you, to the manager, pool fee
GroupStatus, managed by, members, workers online, group hashrate 1 h and 24 h, declared by the manager, blocks found
RulesThe rules fixed at creation
YouIn the group since, your declared machines, days without shares, when removal is possible, the date of your declaration
Blocks of the groupEvery block with date, server, coinbase, to you, to the manager, members paid, pool fee, confirmations and an explorer link

Only your own part is shown; other members appear masked. “If a block came now” is calculated on the members with shares so far: as more members send shares, your part goes down.

The red warning: shares on another server

If your latest shares land on a server other than the primary, the top line turns red: “in failover on” that server. Those shares pay only at the next block found there. Check the pool order on your machines, or tell your manager. “No shares in the last 30 min” means the machines are off or misconfigured.

Verify the payout now

The button Verify the payout now asks the primary server for the coinbase it would publish right now, with your address, exactly as one of your machines receives it. The page compares it with the rules.

  • All as per the rules: the page shows the block height, the pool fee, the manager share and your part in satoshi, on the real block with its network fees.
  • ATTENTION: the manager share is different from the rules, or your address is missing from the coinbase. Sign nothing and write to [email protected]; the Report it button prepares the message.
  • Check not possible right now: try again in a minute.

If the round is empty, the result shows you as the only member: as soon as other shares arrive, the part is divided. The date of the last check stays on the page.

The automatic check. Every day we run the same check on every server of the group and show the result on your page: “coinbase correct on N/N servers”, or the server that needs attention. If a server does not match, your manager and SoloFury receive an alert at once. If your page shows a server that does not match, ask your manager to keep your machines off that server and write to [email protected].

Verify a block yourself

Each block of the group can be checked on a public block explorer in a few minutes.

  1. Open the block in the table on your page and press explorer.
  2. In the coinbase transaction, find the output at your address.
  3. Compare the satoshi with “To you” on your page.
  4. Check that your output, the members, the manager and the pool fee add up to the coinbase total.

The block becomes spendable after 100 confirmations, about 17 hours; your page shows the count. Rarely a block is orphaned: the network chose another block at the same height, and that block pays nobody.

Telegram alerts

The bot is @SoloFuryFleetBot. Use only this name and links that start with t.me/SoloFuryFleetBot.

Activate

  1. On your page, press Activate Telegram alerts.
  2. Copy the message, sign it with your payout address as in step 8, paste the signature and press Connect the bot.
  3. The page shows the bot link in clear text and a QR code; the link works once, within 1 hour. Open it and press Start in Telegram.
  4. The bot confirms the group, your manager and your masked address.

What you receive

  • Blocks found by the group, with the real coinbase and your part, or the reason you received nothing on that block.
  • Your machines without shares: after 2 hours, 24 hours and 7 days.
  • Your shares landing off the primary server.
  • Your part below 5,000 sat with the current round, at most once a day.
  • Your removal, or the dissolution of the group.

Each message ends with the group, your manager and their support contact.

Rules of the bot

  • The bot asks you for nothing: no signatures, seeds, links or payments.
  • /status shows what is active; /stop disconnects the chat.

Leaving the group

You can leave at any time. The removal becomes possible after 14 days without shares on every server. At removal, your shares still in an open round are deleted and not paid; the next block is divided among the members left. Blocks already found stay in your wallet.

  1. Switch off your machines or move them to another pool.
  2. On your page press Ask for removal, ask for a message, sign it with your address and paste the signature. A reason is optional; the manager sees it.
  3. The page shows the date from which the removal is possible. From that date your manager has 7 days to execute it; after that SoloFury does it. No permission from the manager is needed.
  4. SoloFury executes the removal on every server. Your page shows “removed” and Telegram sends a last message. The address is free again.

If the manager removes you. The manager can do it only after 14 days without shares from you, and must choose a reason: machines switched off, contract ended, client request, moved to another group, or other with a note. You read the reason on your page. Blocks already found stay in your wallet.

If the group is dissolved. A group can be dissolved only when no member has sent shares for 14 days. Shares in a round still open are not paid. The block history stays on your page.

What the numbers say

The group finds blocks as one, so the group’s hashrate sets how often a block comes, and your share of the work sets the size of your part.

Group hashrateAverage time per blockAt least 1 block in 12 months6 months without blocks
20 PH/s349 days65%59%
50 PH/s140 days93%27%
100 PH/s70 days99.5%7%
200 PH/s35 daysabove 99.9%0.5%

Two examples with a 5% manager share, on the subsidy alone. With two machines, about 470 TH/s, in a 20 PH/s group, you have 2.35% of the shares: about 0.069 BTC per block, with the group finding about one block a year. With 2 PH/s in a 50 PH/s group, you have 4%: about 0.1175 BTC per block and about 0.31 BTC per year on average. Averages over many years, not an income.

Source: network difficulty 140.58 T, set at block 971,712 on 16 October 2026. Formula: average time = difficulty × 232 ÷ hashrate; chance in a period t = 1 − e−t/T. Network fees excluded. The invitation and your page recalculate with the current difficulty.

How we work

  • Payout in the block. We build the coinbase with the pool fee, the manager share and one output per member paid. The network creates the bitcoin at those addresses.
  • Same rules for everyone. Our fee is 1% for every group. The terms are public, with dates and responsibilities; Fleet Group is section 13.
  • Checked every day. The coinbase of every server is compared with the rules every day, and you can check the next block at any moment.
  • Amounts from the chain. Pages and alerts read the on-chain coinbase. If a number differs, the blockchain prevails.
  • Support. Your manager is your first contact for machines and hosting. For blocks, the group rules and the terms, write to [email protected].

Conclusion

Joining takes one address, one signature and about 5 minutes. From then on your machines mine with the group, and every block the group finds on your server pays your part straight into your wallet, in proportion to your work. Your receipt, your page and the daily check let you check every block and the next coinbase yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my manager or SoloFury move my bitcoin?

Your part is an output of the block's coinbase transaction, at your address. It is at your address from the moment the block is found and can be spent after 100 confirmations; an orphaned block pays nothing. Only the keys of your wallet can spend it.

Why did I receive nothing on a block of the group?

There are three cases, and your page shows which one applies: your machines had no shares in that round on the server that found the block; your part was below 5,000 sat and stayed in the pool fee; or the block was orphaned and paid nobody.

Do my shares count if my machines switch to pool 3?

Yes, in the round of that other server. They pay only if that server finds a block for the group. Your page shows a red warning while your shares land off the primary server; check the pool order on your machines or tell your manager.

Can the manager change the rules after I join?

No. Pool fee, manager share, primary server, minimum payout and maximum members are fixed when the group is created. They are in your receipt and on your page, and every coinbase follows them.

How do I leave the group?

Stop sending shares to the group and ask for removal from your page with a signature. After 14 days without shares on every server the removal becomes possible; the manager has 7 days, then SoloFury removes you. Your shares still in an open round are deleted at removal and not paid.

Can I use an exchange address, or an address starting with 1 or 3?

You need a bc1q or bc1p address from a wallet that can sign messages. Exchange deposit addresses cannot sign. Addresses starting with 1 or 3 are not accepted for now.

Who can see my address and my part?

Your page is reachable by your address, like every miner page of the pool. Other members see your address masked in the block history. Blocks are public on the blockchain, like every Bitcoin transaction.

How do I declare the bitcoin I receive?

Your page lists every block of the group with your output in satoshi and a link to the coinbase on a block explorer. Tax rules depend on your country: check them with a tax advisor.
